Two Forms that Fit Together
Two forms that fit together can be interpreted in many different ways. That's what is so great about an assignment like this. You can make a pot that has a lid, you can make a sculpture like that one seen above, or you could do something abstract that fits together.

Assembled Form
The assembled form is the final project for the course. It combine everything that you have learned and applies it to a piece of pottery that is both creative and beautiful, but also functional in its purpose. For this assignment you will be making a teapot that has an original design of some kind. There will be 4 components to the project. You will have to make the body, lid, spout, and handle of the teapot and then combine them together. There is no one right way to create this project. Some teapots have a very traditional look to them while others are abstract and unique. The most important thing for this assignment will be to focus on craftsmanship. At this point you have had several months of practice in ceramics and now you will be expect to take everything you have learned and create something beautiful!
